The “Pie Ladies” delivering peach pies, a 4th of July tradition in Rehoboth. Revelers at my house were treated to pimento cheese tea sandwiches and bourbon and iced tea punch, a recipe from Garden & Gun Magazine. Eighty pies were delivered around town. Photos below.
The Go Cup 
we were at Pat’s pool the other day talking about this gala event. I would love to be privy to this next year, I will promise to stay out of the way and just enjoy the show.
Give this one a whirl: in a large pitcher, mix one part Maker’s Mark, two parts Arizona raspberry iced tea, and a sploosh of watermelon pucker. Serve in a Tom Collins style glass with ice (natch) and a straw.
