There’s an interesting article in the August edition of Delaware Beach Life by Lynn Parks about ponds and lakes. Silver Lake on the south side of Rehoboth is the only natural lake in Sussex County. All the others are manmade, as are the ponds you see everywhere. Most of the ponds are old mill ponds, built to power grain and lumber saws. This photo is one I took of Wagamon’s Pond in Milton at sunrise.
