Several thousand people showed up today on the Rehoboth Boardwalk and beach for the 6th annual Polar Bear Plunge.  The event raised more than half a million dollars for Delaware Special Olympics.  Outside it was a balmy 50 degrees.  The water, however, was 40 degrees.
